Having Feedback Loops Are Key to Transforming Your Business
From day one, when I begin coaching a client, I want to discover what process, system, or tools they are currently using to gather information for decision-making in their business. What I want to uncover is what feedback loops they are presently using.
Feedback loop: A feedback loop is the part of a system in which some portion of that system’s output is used as input for future behavior.
Every new client I have ever met comes to coaching because something is going on in the business that they want to change. That change typically revolves around solving problems in these five common areas:
- Lack/use of a time allocation system
- Lack of vision
- Lack of systems and processes
- Lack / Ignorance of tracking numbers
- Lack of self-awareness
As a Master coach with Workman Success Systems, we support our clients in putting in customized feedback loops that address the common problems to transforming their business.
What makes them customized is they are co-created by making iterative changes and additions through daily, weekly, and quarterly action. As a result, the client, over time, begins to incorporate new and modified feedback loops into their business that takes the guesswork out of decision making.
The Lack of Systems and Processes is the Number One Reason My Clients Come to Coaching
Of the five common problems that my clients want to be solved, the number one thing they come to coaching for is our process of creating systems and processes. In my next essay, I will go into detail on how I help clients build and use customized feedback loops.
